About the cumbus
The highlight of the Cumbus is the alum bowl that resonates the sound. The membrane in the Cumbus is usually plastic and sometimes real natural skin. The Cumbus is tuned in a variety of options, from normal Oud: C F A D G C (low to high), Though high tuning sound better to us. Another favorable tuning is F A D G C F (low to high). We also suggest you to try tightening the butterfly screw that connects the bowl and the neck. This will change the string action and the sound. Read more about the Cumbus family

So far I’m pretty impressed with this oud. Looks kinda like a banjo but has that sound you can’t find anywhere else. A little bit funky to tune at first but I think I’ve got it the way I like it. Pleased with my order.
