Beautiful, deep, resonant

I'm new to the oud and this was my first purchase. Daniel answered all my questions promptly and with good humour. The oud was securely packed and arrived safely in the UK. The tone is deep and resonant, which is exactly what I wanted. The oud is solid, beautifully made, and holds its tuning. A worthy and valuable instrument

Albeit this oud seemed a bit rough at first, I come to like its deep bass sound and vibrant middle range sound. I will definitely try various strings and tuning patterns to see what works best it, but so far my playing experience was good. If like me you are a newbie player and you already own a Turkish oud you may consider this one as an alternative so you can switch and practice musical pieces in different notation. This particular instrument definitely has a more rugged and earthy sound, but that's the beauty of it.

Beautiful tone

This is my third oud, and by far my favorite. Deep tones, quality craftmanship, and stays in tune over multiple recording sessions. Not many have been able to withstand Minnesota USA winter weather, but this one is great.
