I am extremely happy with my shami oud, the craftmanship is extraordinary and the shipping was swift. Only one small gripe was how the strings were installed, overlapping and not optimal, but after installing a better suitable set for me, I am more than happy. The sound is well controlled with singing mids, tight lows and good highs.

I got my Zeryab Shami 2/ Nahat in an excellent shape and packaging . Very happy with the service quality, the timeliness and the quality of the instrument. The string exchange and setting of the instrument is impeccable. It sounds good, and it keeps the tuning for days.

Ever since I started listening to Oud melodies, I was entranced. There's something about this instrument which is so raw and exotic. I ordered mine from ethnic musical, got it about two weeks ago, and it plays beautifully. I can tell you that once you pick up this Oud, you just dont want to put it down. It is a whole different melody, not one you can experience with other modern instruments.

I was looking for that great Syrian sound and this oud fulfilled all my dreams and more. Beautiful design. Beautiful sound. Beautiful oud.

Concert Arabic Oud Pamela Mother of Pearl by Feramis Usta

I am very happy with my oud. It arrived well packaged, wrapped, and in it's case. Upon opening and initial inspection I observed it was well made, it tuned easily, the tuning pegs turn with ease and the strings are great. The Mother of Pearl is beautiful and the finish on the oud looks wonderful. After playing it I really began to hear how wonderful it sounds. I took it a to my local luthier for a professional inspection and he said "it is well made" and "a beautiful piece of work." Thank you Daniel for taking care of an unforeseen delay at customs and being responsive and timely throughout the entire process. This is my second oud purchase form Ethnic Musical. I will continue to buy my ouds from Ethnic Musical and suggest others do as well because of the high quality instruments, professional service, and fine craftsmanship!
