Semi Hollow Walnut Arabic Electric Oud, Guitar Pegs

I bought this cool Oud recently, and so far, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! I love that I get to enjoy both worlds with the option of switching from semi-acoustic to electric without changing instruments. It has a beautiful and authentic sound that will mesmerize your audience; either way, you play it. This beauty is perfect for rocking out the folk-rock music I play, but you can also play any kind of rock, jazz, funk, the blues, and many other types of music as well.  I like the artistic yet simple, hand-crafted design; it’s a lovely instrument. It’s not too big or bulky, so it’s perfect for traveling or touring. The only down-side I’ve come across is that it doesn’t have the right sound that it needs to play the traditional Arabic music I enjoy playing.

I just started performing on stage and wanted to get a decent electric oud to make sure the sound is really good regardless of how big the room is. After a lot of deliberation, I decided to purchase this one and it's fair to say that I'm not disappointed. It can be used as an acoustic oud too but I always tend to make use of the electric capacity. I love practising with electric (I'm lucky since I don't have neighbours) so it's great for me. Aside from all that, I like how it looks. At first, I couldn't figure out whether I wanted a more intricate design but I've realised that I do like the simplicity of this Arabic oud. Plus, the mechanical pegs make it easy to tune it and conduct sound checks before my performances start. It's a good allrounder really so I'd recommend it to anyone.
