The ney came well packaged, it had extra protection so it arrived save to my home, I used standard free shipping and I received it in two weeks.
I was abble to make a sound of out it in minutes, I was worry about all the reviews online saying that turkish neys were hard to get a sound off, but after two weeks of daily practice I can play two octaves, maybe is thanks to being made out of plastic instead of reed.
The only down side is the baspare being a bit rough, but is normal, is plastic.

Good instrument no issues!
Quality is good, has a finish on top so it doesn't look like plastic, good tuning. well tuned instrument. No issues

Perfect ney for the travelling dervish
Easy to carry around, you simlpy stuff it in your backpack; no oiling, no cracks; nice, warm sound, holes are easy to cover; perfect instrument for the beginner as well as for the travelling dervish

Plastic Ney.
I bought a plastic Turkish Ney and a plastic Arabian Ney and are very beautiful instruments! I have got lots of different musical instruments which I record many musical videos of different genres and styles and I will try to record also a video with these amazing ethnic musical instruments:)!
