Since I've been playing the Kanum for a long time, I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert (rather big-headedly I suppose). Anyway, I hope my review can help those who are less experienced.
I've got a lot of Turkish Kanums to choose from at home but this one has to be my new favourite. It's not just because of the intricate designs (although I do love this aesthetic) but the sound is great as well.
I like the fact it comes with the picks too since beginners probably won't have any at home. And it's relatively easy to tune but, just like any instrument, it does take practice to get it right.
It's also quite cool to see the pictures of the workshop where it was made. I haven't seen many stores do this yet so it's a nice touch.
If you're serious about Turkish Qanuns and have the money, you can't go wrong with this
