Master Karen Hakobayan

Karen Hakobyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1961.
He graduated from the piano department at Music School, and continued his education in the department of national instruments at Pedagogical Institute Yerevan, Armenia.

As a student, he gave hundreds of concerts in Russia, Ukraine, and all over the USA. Soon he was invited to work at Armenian state ensemble of national instruments as a shviahar (exceptional Armenian instrument).

Since a young age he is making the best armenian wind instruments a musician can wish. Perfectly tune, and made of aged wood. In Armenia Karen’s instruments are considered to be top quality.
