Specializing in the production of both short-neck and long-neck bağlamas, Oktay Yılmaz has leveraged decades of knowledge and experience to become a leading name in traditional instrument craftsmanship. The company boasts the largest storage and natural drying facility in Turkey, ensuring the highest quality of materials. With an Oktay Yilmaz saz, the raw materials have been carefully chosen and dried for at least 10 years. Our journey began in 1973, in Maltepe, where we established our first workshop. Today, Oktay Yılmaz Saz Evi operates from a 600m2 large workshop and a 1200m2 natural drying facility, along with multiple workshops in Istanbul. We are committed to preserving and promoting the bağlama culture by producing superior instruments for professional musicians.
