Cumbus Oud Head Rim Replacement Skin Synthetic

My Cumbus Saz had a head ring made of goat skin. It was rather worn out, flabby, without tension, so that the bridge had left two large dents in it. When I was going to order a new head rim via Ethnical Music, I first had some questions about its properties.
