Concert Electric Acoustic Oud – Wenge & Mahogany

My brother and I went in on this oud together as a gift for our dad. It looks nice and arrived quickly. Slighly second guessing the style we chose but we’ll see how he likes it.

My electric acoustic Oud came today without damage. The seller packaged it nicely with padding, and it had lots of protection. The company was easy to make a purchase from, and they have good customer service. I’m a drummer, and this is the first stringed instrument I’ve tried to play. I heard it was a good instrument to start with because it’s simple without a lot of fluff. It’s been fun learning how to play it. It’s not a fancy looking instrument but has all the basics, and it’s all I needed. Pros - it’s cool that you can choose to play it as either as an acoustic or an electric instrument - It was crafted well and is a basic but good looking instrument - Reasonable price - shipped pretty fast - nice sounding tone Cons - The sound isn’t quite as loud and booming as the sound of a fully electric oud - there are a few miner rough spots on the neck - I didn’t like the strings it came with and had to replace them right away
