Feramis Usta, an Oud maker from Izmir. He has been making Ouds for 29 years. His work is characterized by extra fine details. Fine finish, and ultimate sound reproduction. Fermis Usta has his own ‘secrets’ when it comes to making an Oud. He won’t reveal, but he is using very old methods when crafting the top of the Oud. With unique bracing materials and shapes. Super professional Oud !
I am very happy with the service I received from Ethnic musical in buying my first Oud. I chose the Concert Arabic Oud Cocobolo, mother of pearl and I don’t regret it! My Oud teacher was a bit jealous as it sounded better than his own oud. The oud is beautiful, one of a kind, and I will keep it for many many years. The service was excellent as I received a prompt answer to all my questions and the Oud arrived safe and sound in about 2 weeks (a bit less than that) to Canada. Also, I expected to pay duty fees but was not charged. Any by Canada customs. I highly recommend Ethnic Musical for the quality of their instruments and the unbeatable service. Thank you Daniel!
