This Oud took 3 months to complete and was made by Master Habib, an experienced master from Izmir, who has learned the secrets of Oud making over his 35 years of experience. This Oud doesn’t only look amazing but also sounds spectacular. For this Oud, we chose a rare Iron Wood, that was dried for over 10 years before being cut. It’s a stunning wood, with deep resonance.

Superb Master Habib Oud from the very helpful Ethnic Musical store.
A spectacular instrument in iron wood, skillfully worked with ribs sawn from one wood block for a stunning visual effect. Master Habib has not only created a piece of Art but a wonderfully nuanced musical instrument combining a depth and warmth of sound and an additional brightness in tone. A real musicians instrument with a rare clarity in all registers all the way up to the rosette. The impressively low action and inlay around the octave position adds to the refinements of what is a professional’s instrument.
Ethnic Musical have been great to deal with . The instrument was thoroughly checked and set up, a hard case was included and was very well packed for a safe and very fast delivery.
