Daniel Karni

Hi, I’m Daniel Karni, founder of Ethnic Musical and a lifelong lover of traditional instruments. My journey started as a musician, fascinated by the sound, history, and soul of Arabic and Turkish music.

Over the years, I have worked closely with luthiers, makers, and players to understand what makes a good oud, saz, ney, kanun, or drum truly special.

At Ethnic Musical, my goal is simple: to help musicians around the world find handmade instruments with character, honesty, and real craftsmanship. I still play, test, and listen with the ears of a musician first.
